Gardeners and Housekeepers: This portrait project surveys gardeners and housekeepers in wealthy Los Angeles neighboroods.  I examine the different roles these two professions maintain. The housekeeper not only organizes and cleans all objects in a house but can also be seen walking the family dog or taking the children to the park. This duality is true with the gardener who is responsible for creating and manicuring beautiful and artistic landscapes around a home while still exhibiting the bravado of a suburban ranchero.
